That was pretty funny. None of us noticed it nuking your modules, though, although in retrospect it must have happened.
I was too busy trying to warp the **** out when I hit mwd instead of warp, like half a second later and he would've got me
Oh yeah I mean it wasn't totally obvious he was going to try and DD us when he started slowboating out of the POS shields for like 10 mins while we were fighting stuff about 150km away ---

I'm not sure how oldma didn't notice the dictor sat 500km in front of us for 10 minutes which we were all suspiciously aligned for and decided to DD anyway ---

New toy, just wanting to play.
Fair enough I would've loved to see the effect properly but managed to hit mwd instead of warp so shitting myself a little trying to get my non-dd-tanked claymore out of the way
Actually now I think about it, claymore can tank 2 EM dd's with an invul II and a LSE, I should've stayed in to test it out ---

If you'd seen what I've been fitting you would've bought me a lot of beers ---

You know, I was reading this and trying to figure out how to reply. Obviously I wanted to say, "Come on back, let's see if I can get a kill mail to see what you were fitting" but the truth of the matter is, in the near future, we may not be able to have that kind of fight again. I'm not sure how I feel about this nano-nerf, but I sure know it sharpens one's senses when they have to go up against a fleet like that. You learn one hell of a lot, in short order, or you don't get to FC again. You guys always teach us a lesson. It is a pleasure flying against you.
My thanks.
The problem with the nano nerf is mainly for our tacklers - most of the damage in that particular fleet was in the form of sniper hacs, which generally only have an mwd fitted (plus the speed boost from the claymore, which currently is quite a nice addition). I'm not sure the nano nerf will change engagements like that all that much aside from making it slightly easier to kill our tackle, but the main problem will involve our exits (or indeed, entrances if the in gate is camped).
The hac fleet we bought in a couple of days before ended up making a very close escape through a bubbled gate at the exit of the triangle (can't remember the system name offhand); we jumped in and we still lost a couple even with gang bonuses and relatively high speed simply because you'd jump bridged ahead of us, and it was either jump in then and lose a couple of log off in the dead end unable to get past.
I'm just hoping it doesn't nerf our tacklers too much (after all, they're the only reason we get kills when most of our damage is 100km away).
I do hope it doesn't change fights like this because they're good fun and even if sometimes we leave with some smart comments in local I think all of us appreciate the fights and I for certain had a damn good time with that fight in particular ---
